Flower arranging vase in the form of a flowering lotus. Of
hammered and gilt silver, the foot ornamented with flush, cloisonné enamels in
a scrolling floral motif. Signed on the reverse by the artist with a chiseled
signature:Yoshinori, and with the mark of the commissioning house: Maruki,
and stamped: Jun Gin or Pure Silver. With the original, carved
wood stand. Late Meiji – Taisho era, circa 1900 – 1920.
