“The truth is that male religious leaders have had – and still have – an option to interpret holy teachings either to exalt or subjugate women. They have, for their own selfish ends, overwhelmingly chosen the latter.
Their continuing choice provides the foundation or justification for much of the pervasive persecution and abuse of women throughout the world. This is in clear violation not just of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights but also the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Apostle Paul, Moses and the prophets, Muhammad, and founders of other great religions – all of whom have called for proper and equitable treatment of all the children of God. It is time we had the courage to challenge these views and set a new course that demands equal rights for women and men, girls and boys.
At their most repugnant, the belief that women are inferior human beings in the eyes of God gives excuses to the brutal husband who beats his wife, the soldier who rapes a woman, the employer who has a lower pay scale for women employees, or parents who decide to abort a female embryo. It also costs many millions of girls and women control over their own bodies and lives, and continues to deny them fair and equal access to education, health care, employment, and influence within their own communities.
Recently I presented my concerns to a group of fellow leaders known as The Elders, who represent practicing Protestants, Catholics, Muslims, and Hindus. We are no longer active in politics and are free to express our honest opinions. We decided to draw particular attention to the role of religious and traditional leaders in obstructing the campaign for equality and human rights, and promulgated a statement that declares: “the justification of discrimination against women and girls on grounds of religion or tradition, as if it were prescribed by a Higher Authority, is unacceptable.”

The more I learn about Satanism, the less horrendous it seems. Not even kidding.
That’s cause non-theistic Satanism is more about worshipping yourself and sorta treating others how you want to be treated etc
hail satan
satanism is actually really solid like the Fifth Satanic Rule of the Earth says not to make sexual advances unless you are given consent
satan seems like a pretty nice guy
This week on “I didn’t know I was a Satanist”
Wait till you hear the Nine Satanic Sins
1. Stupidity
2. Pretentiousness
3. Solipsism
4. Self-deceit
5. Herd conformity
6. Lack of perspective
7. Forgetfulness of past orthodoxies
8. Counterproductive pride
9. Lack of aesthetics
That’s right. If you ain’t got no style, you be sinning.
*converts to Satanism*
it mentioned a rule above, but i havent seen the rest of the satanic rules posted here, so…
1: Do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked
2: Do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them
3: When in another’s home, show them respect or else do not go there
4: If a guest in your home annoys you, treat them cruelly and without mercy
5: Do not make sexual advantages unless you are given the mating signal
6: Do not take which does not belong to you, unless it is a burden to the other person and they cry out to be relieved
7: Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it to successfully obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will loose all you have obtained.
8: Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself.
9: Do not harm young children.
10: Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food.
11: When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask them to stop. If they do not stop, destroy them.
Today in ‘Shit, lets be Satan.’
I’m a catholic christian but this made more sense than some of the stuff in the bible does!I don’t usually post things like this on my blog but I thought it’d be important for people to know that:
Satanists DO NOT worship Satan. “Satan” is the latin root for “the one whom opposes”. The name was purposlly chosen to piss off Christians. Satanists are opposed to everything religious, which means that they do not believe in God, therefore, they do not believe in Satan either. The misconceptions of Satanism come from the movies where you see people sacrificing goats and all that stuff, but it is not true. I have read the Satanic Bible. I can assure you that they do not believe in anything religious.
Throwing this back up here because I’m thinking about leading with it at the family reunion.
wow it’s kinda like perking your head outside a window they always told you would be dangerous, and instead… you find only another view, interesting
On a related note, did yall hear about After School Satan?
“After School Satan was created in July of 2016 to ensure that equal
representation for all religions is upheld in public schools, and
religious freedom and plurality is respected. Since the U.S. Supreme
Court ruled in 2001 that religious groups are permitted to establish
clubs to proselytize after hours using public school classrooms, the
Christian based Good News Club has established thousands of such clubs.
In response, The Satanic Temple began a campaign to establish its own
clubs across the United States. According to one organizer, “Whenever
religion enters the public sphere, like the Good News Club at public
schools, we take action to ensure that more than one religious voice is
represented, and that is our intent with the After School Satan Club.”]The clubs follow a standard syllabus, and strive to provide students
with the critical thinking skills necessary to be able to make important
life decisions for themselves. They emphasize a scientific and
rationalist, non-superstitious world view, and oppose “indoctrination”
into other-worldly belief systems”“
Greaves is blunt: We are only doing this because Good News Clubs have
created a need for this. If Good News Clubs would operate in churches
rather than public schools, that need would disappear. But our point is
that if you let one religion into the public schools you have to let
others, otherwise it’s an establishment of religion.“
quotes from my flat: blasphemy
“Jesus H.D. Christ!”
“Why is Jesus in high def?”
im not a christian but at this point i want jesus christ himself to descend from the afterlife to take the microphone out of trump’s hands and say “are yall fuckin serious”
Imagine how much Trump would hate that, having a Middle Eastern man interrupt him.

A middle eastern jewish man born in Palestine who gave away free healthcare and chased capitalists with a whip.
If you’ll be experiencing the eclipse on Monday and were wondering if there is a berakhah for that: there totally is.

- Aphroditus – an aspect of the Greek goddess Aphrodite, depicted as a female figure with male genitalia. Worshipped in certain cults, including in Athens.
- Hapi – Egyptian god linked to the flooding of the Nile, represented as a male figure with a feminine body type (including breasts) to indicate fertility.

Obi-Wan is my Lord, Savior, and Defender of the High Ground.
This got so much more entertaining after he decided it was time to actually portray Jesus in a movie.
the last supper was basically jesus cracking open his last cold one w the boys
a friend of mine tried to sell his soul on ebay and the starter price was $10 and people were bidding on it but before anything happened ebay took it down and sent him an email explaining that if he was selling a soul that didn’t actually exist then it was against their policy and if he was selling a real soul then that is a human body part and it is also against their policy
hey man i haven’t seen a single similar post (concerning???) so i feel like it’s important to make this.
tomorrow is ramadan. your eating disorder will not magically disappear in ramadan.
allah will not hate you if you relapse in ramadan. be it that you faint or you binge, if you need to break your fast because of your eating disorder THEN YOU BREAK YOUR FAST.
You are not supposed to fast when you are sick. YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO FAST WHEN YOU ARE SICK. IT IS HARAM TO FAST IF YOU ARE SICK BECAUSE IT BRINGS HARM TO YOUR BODY. If you start feeling horribly sick and you know, you haven’t had sufficient suhoor or iftar for a few days or anything of the sort, it is okay to break your fast and even go to the hospital if you need to.
habaybi that have eating disorders, PLEASE take care of yourself during ramadan. It is a month of cleansing and forgiveness, so forgive yourself if you relapse. You can always redo your fast after ramadan.
Jazakallah please reblog this post and ramadan mubarak to you all! ♡
