This is the only comedy sketch that doesn’t make fun of women and their period. It try’s to make you relies how weird and annoying periods really are. That’s really refreshing
Ramen is already awesomely delicious, but Singapore-based artist Cynthia Delaney Suwito’s Knitting Noodles project elevates delicious noodles into edible art. She took an “instant” food and put it to use in a way that requires she be patient and careful, which in turn urges the viewer to slow down as they watch the methodical noodle knitting process:
The Breadwinner: Parvana is a 12-year-old girl growing up under the Taliban in
Afghanistan in 2001. When her father is arrested, Parvana dresses as a
boy in order to work and provide for her family. Together with her best
friend Shauzia, she risks discovery to try to find out if her father is
still alive.
To be honest, I thought anime sometimes exaggerated the cherry blossom petal scenes. I stand corrected. I now realize some don’t even have enough petals.
